Kitchen Porter

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team in the Blackburn area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
No previous experience is essential as full training will be provided. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support the kitchen team are what matter most.

Key Responsibilities
- Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils.
- Keeping all kitchen areas clean, tidy, and hygienic.
- Operating dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation when required.
- Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, work surfaces, floors, and storage areas.
- Receiving and storing deliveries in the correct locations.
- Restocking cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials.
- Following all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What We're Looking For

- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential.
