Pay: £15.16 per hour
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join a high-quality corporate hospitality operation in London.
Working as an important part of the kitchen team, you’ll help keep the whole operation running smoothly. You’ll ensure that equipment, crockery and kitchen areas are kept clean, organised and ready for service while supporting the chefs and wider hospitality team throughout the day.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in maintaining high standards and is comfortable in a busy kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and store crockery, cutlery, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Keep kitchen, wash-up and storage areas clean and organised
- Ensure the team has the equipment it needs throughout service
- Assist with deliveries and store items safely and correctly
- Support waste management and recycling procedures
- Complete cleaning schedules thoroughly and on time
- Assist the chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, allergen, COSHH and health and safety procedures
- Report maintenance, safety or hygiene concerns promptly
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Support the wider operation wherever needed

About You
You’ll be dependable, positive and willing to get stuck in. You’ll work well as part of a team, remain calm during busy periods and take pride in keeping your working environment clean and safe.
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience would be helpful, but it isn’t essential. A strong work ethic, good attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
