Delaware North UK is hiring a casual Kitchen Porter to join our team at London Stadium in Stratford, East London. As a Kitchen Porter, you will be assisting the kitchen team with dishwashing and other culinary back-of-house tasks. Responsibilities
- Wash all crockery, cutlery, and light equipment using industrial machines, as well as hand washing larger items in designated sinks
- Assist the culinary team to ensure smooth and effective catering service within the restaurant
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in food preparation and service areas
- Assist with deliveries and ensure stock is replenished from stores and the kitchen as needed
- Follow appropriate health, safety, and food hygiene guidelines, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence
Qualifications
- Strong skills in verbal communications, organisation, time management, attention to detail, and teamwork
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Previous experience in a catering kitchen is beneficial

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Comfortable handling various meat products
- Availability to attend shifts for matchdays and event days, due to events-based nature of roles
Hourly Minimum Rate
GBP £14.58/Hourly

Delaware North has managed the hospitality services at London Stadium since 2015. Home of the Hammers and UK Athletics, this 60 – 80,000 stadium has been at the centre of world-class events. Starting off hosting the 2012 Summer Olympics, London Stadium has grown to hold a vibrant portfolio of elite sporting events and concerts.
