A Day in the Life

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll:

• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and ready for service.
• Wash and sanitise kitchen equipment, crockery, utensils, and cookware.
• Support the chefs by maintaining clean workstations throughout the day.
• Assist with deliveries and safely store stock in the correct locations.
• Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain recycling procedures.
• Follow food safety, health, and safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Help with basic food preparation when required.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure every service runs smoothly.

Previous Experience

We're looking for someone with:

• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential.
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Good organisational skills.
• The ability to work efficiently and follow instructions.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience working in a commercial kitchen.
• A Level 2 Food Safety qualification.
• Experience with stock deliveries or food preparation.
• An ambition to progress into a chef role.
