Mission
As Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within our kitchen operations. You will support the culinary team by ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils, and back-of-house areas are maintained to exceptional standards, helping deliver a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized back-of-house food and beverage areas
- Ensure all kitchen utensils, crockery, and operating equipment are cleaned and available for service
- Support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness throughout all food production areas
- Monitor and minimize breakage and loss of operating equipment
- Follow all back-of-house cleaning schedules and waste disposal procedures
- Ensure hygiene and HACCP standards are consistently maintained
- Assist with fridge and freezer cleaning schedules
- Safely store and handle kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies
- Work closely with chefs and kitchen teams to support smooth daily operations
- Maintain excellent health, safety, and hygiene practices at all times
- Support the wider stewarding team and cover duties when required

What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a kitchen, stewarding, or hospitality environment is beneficial
- Strong understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented approach
- Flexible and willing to support operational needs
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to health, safety, and food hygiene standards
- Passion for hospitality and delivering high standards
