Mission

As Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within our kitchen operations. You will support the culinary team by ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils, and back-of-house areas are maintained to exceptional standards, helping deliver a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized back-of-house food and beverage areas
  • Ensure all kitchen utensils, crockery, and operating equipment are cleaned and available for service
  • Support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness throughout all food production areas
  • Monitor and minimize breakage and loss of operating equipment
  • Follow all back-of-house cleaning schedules and waste disposal procedures
  • Ensure hygiene and HACCP standards are consistently maintained
  • Assist with fridge and freezer cleaning schedules
  • Safely store and handle kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies
  • Work closely with chefs and kitchen teams to support smooth daily operations
  • Maintain excellent health, safety, and hygiene practices at all times
  • Support the wider stewarding team and cover duties when required

  • Previous experience in a kitchen, stewarding, or hospitality environment is beneficial
  • Strong understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented approach
  • Flexible and willing to support operational needs
  • Good communication skills
  • Commitment to health, safety, and food hygiene standards
