About The Clarence
The Clarence is a lively dining room and pub in the heart of Glasgow’s West End, offering seasonal, ingredient-led food alongside a thoughtful drinks programme in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking part time Kitchen Porter, working mainly evenings & weekends to join our kitchen team.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play an essential role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and supporting the wider team during service.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain cleanliness across all kitchen areas and equipment.
- Wash and store crockery, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently.
- Support chefs with basic preparation and tasks when required.
- Assist with deliveries and organisation of stock.
- Follow all food safety and health & safety procedures.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused working environment.

About You
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Have previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment (preferred but not essential).
- Are reliable, hardworking, and take pride in your work.
- Enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Are organised and able to work efficiently under pressure.
