We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our conference venues in Cambridge CB3 9AL.
Please note this is a casual/zero hour contract.

We work in office restaurants, independent schools, and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.
The Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll support the smooth running of our kitchen across café lunch and dinner service, private dinners, formal events, buffets, and conferences. Your responsibilities will include:

- Washing up
- Cleaning kitchen equipment
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation
- Handling deliveries and waste
- Supporting with event set-up and clear-down
Skills and Experience
- Have experience working in a similar role and environment
- Be highly organized and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
- Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
- Have excellent customer service and social skills
- Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
- Have a can-do attitude and will work well as part of a team
