Role Overview
The Kitchen Porter at The Botanist York ensures the kitchen operates efficiently and to high standards by maintaining cleanliness, organising stock, and supporting the culinary team. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional food and hospitality in a busy environment, contributing to a smooth and organised back-of-house operation.

We're looking for Kitchen Porters who take pride in keeping things organised, clean and running smoothly. You'll play an essential role in supporting our chefs and helping deliver the high standards our guests expect.
Working as part of a busy kitchen team, you'll help create the foundation for great food and great hospitality.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces
- Supporting deliveries and stock organisation
- Assisting the kitchen team during service
- Following food safety and health & safety procedures
- Helping ensure the kitchen operates efficiently
