Join The Cinnamon Collection as a Kitchen Porter!

Are you looking for a role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contribution is key to the success of an innovative restaurant group? The Cinnamon Collection, renowned for its contemporary take on Indian cuisine, is searching for a Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team and help us deliver unforgettable dining experiences.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

At The Cinnamon Collection, we believe that every role in the kitchen is vital. As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll be the backbone of the kitchen, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so our chefs can focus on creating incredible dishes. You’ll be part of a passionate team that’s dedicated to quality, service, and innovation.

Your Role

  • Keep the Kitchen Running Smoothly: You’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, ensuring that all areas are spotless and hygienic, from workstations to floors.
  • Support the Chefs: You’ll assist the kitchen team by washing pots, pans, and utensils, ensuring they’re always ready to be used. You’ll also help with basic food prep and restocking ingredients when needed.
  • Manage Supplies: You’ll ensure the kitchen is fully stocked with clean plates, utensils, and other essential equipment so that service is never interrupted.
  • Maintain Health & Safety Standards: You’ll play a key role in ensuring the kitchen meets the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene, working with the team to follow all guidelines.

What We’re Looking For

  • Hardworking & Reliable: You take pride in your work and are always willing to go the extra mile to support the team.
  • Team Player: You enjoy being part of a close-knit team and understand that every role, big or small, contributes to our success.
  • Organised & Efficient: You know how to manage your time and stay on top of tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the kitchen runs like clockwork.
  • Attention to Detail: Cleanliness and hygiene are crucial in a kitchen, and you have a sharp eye for detail to ensure everything is up to standard.
  • Previous Experience (Preferred, Not Required): While experience in a kitchen porter role is beneficial, what matters most is a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
