The Tower

Contract: Flexible

Payment: Hourly

Salary: £13.00 per hour + tronc

Would you like to work in a spacious, contemporary hotel close to World Heritage Sites; Tower Bridge and The Tower of London? The Tower Hotel is a 4-star deluxe Hotel overlooking the Thames, next to Tower Bridge. The hotel's 801 bedrooms, restaurants, bars, and 19 meeting rooms benefit from stunning views over Tower Bridge and St Katharine Docks.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this key role, you will support our entire kitchen brigade, ensuring that every aspect of the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Keeping all areas clean and tidy
  • Washing dishes
  • Mopping floors
  • Stacking and unpacking dishwashers
  • Recycling
  • Addressing the basic health and safety needs of the kitchen environment
  • Assisting with basic food preparation and storage
  • Contributing to our commitment to exceptional hospitality

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong communication and influencing skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with team members and contribute to a cohesive kitchen atmosphere
  • Attention to detail to ensure that all cleaning and preparation tasks meet our high standards of quality and hygiene

  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills, ensuring that you handle tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Adaptable nature, responding positively to change and embracing new challenges as they arise
