Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Kitchen Sales Designer role based in Kingston Upon Hull. The Kitchen Sales Designer will welcome customers to the showroom, explore their needs and lifestyle, and translate these into tailored kitchen designs using design software and product knowledge.   • Preparing detailed quotations
  • Presenting design proposals
  • Managing the sales process from initial consultation through to final sign-off
  • Coordinating closely with installation teams and suppliers to ensure accurate orders, timelines, and specifications

Day-to-day activities also include:

  • Maintaining showroom standards
  • Updating displays
  • Following up on leads
  • Achieving agreed sales and customer satisfaction targets

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability in kitchen, interior, or spatial design, including proficiency with Winner and Anthill.
  • Strong consultative sales skills and experience in a retail or showroom environment, ideally within kitchens.
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term customer relationships.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects, quotations, and customer follow-ups accurately.
  • Attention to detail in measurements, layouts, and specifications, with strong numerical skills for pricing and quotations.
  • Customer-centric mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and solutions tailored to individual needs.
  • Comfort working with digital tools, including CRM systems, email, and standard office software.
  • Previous experience in kitchen design or home improvement is highly desirable; relevant design or sales qualifications are an advantage.
