Job Title: Implant Manager
Working Hours
- Monday - Friday
- 1 in 2 Saturday mornings (8-12)
This position is a fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave for 12 months. The intended cover will commence from December 2026, however the successful candidate may start in advance of this if able to do so, to facilitate a strong handover process. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a strong reputation within the Travis Perkins group, potentially leading to additional opportunities after this initial contract period.

With over 150 branches and showrooms, we offer top-tier appliances, worktops, and joinery from leading brands.
Benchmarx Rickmansworth is a new, emerging leader in our structure, already establishing themselves as a pillar of the community after just one year. With a small but successful team, the Benchmarx implant continues to surpass expectations, setting high figures on a monthly basis. We hope to involve the successful candidate with the recruitment of an Assistant Manager, depending on the speed of process.
What’s it like to be a Benchmarx Manager
Every day is different at Benchmarx but here’s what you can expect:
- You will maximise efficiency and success across all daily branch operations.
- As an expert in your branch, you will be confident in coaching and managing your team to ensure targets are met, through proactive selling and impeccable service standards.
- Strong customer relationships and growing, profitable sales is key to our success. You'll support your team to deliver the highest standards when serving customers, understanding and surpassing customers’ needs, upselling to maximise the opportunity before sending them on their way with a smile.
- We keep safety at the heart of everything we do. Maintaining high standards and housekeeping across our branch keeps everybody safe and happy all day, every day.
- You’ll lead all aspects of the branch, from overseeing CAD designs to supporting the team with warehouse deliveries. You’ll work closely with your local Travis Perkins branches, Hire and Managed Services to promote a collaborative approach to customer service and cementing our position at the forefront of the industry.
- This role is about building trust, collaborating with and supporting colleagues, maximising sales, and driving a strong, enduring culture.

You’ll need:
- Demonstrated capability to support a team to achieve and outperform sales and profit targets, supported by strong delivery against role specific KPI’s.
- To be detail-oriented, organised, and determined to achieve results, with a strong focus on planning, execution, and delegating this to a team.
- Great communication skills, to facilitate your credible and confident leadership and outstanding customer service.
- Your approachable, positive personality will shine through, making customers feel valued and building lasting relationships with colleagues. You’ll have customer facing confidence, which means you won’t be afraid to coach your team to hold financial conversations or ask for the sale.
- No Industry Experience Needed: We're looking for transferable skills, a passion for leading teams and driving profitable sales and delivering outstanding customer service.
