Company Description

The Meet Point Coffee Ltd provides corporate hire, event support, brand activations, and full catering services. The team has delivered successful events for organizations such as Curry’s call centre, Vodafone HQ in Newbury, and HONOR UK flagship phone launches. The company specializes in Indian and Bengali cuisine, complemented by a popular street food line-up offered across three locations. Services are tailored through bespoke menus designed for events of various sizes, with a focus on quality food and professional customer service.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Kitchen Staff role based in Oxford. The Kitchen Staff team member will assist with daily food preparation, cooking, and plating of menu items, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
  • Following hygiene and safety procedures
  • Supporting efficient service during busy periods
  • Working closely with front-of-house staff
  • Responding to requests promptly
  • Contributing to a positive experience for customers at events and in the café

Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required depending on event schedules.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Food Preparation and Cooking, with the ability to follow recipes and support menu execution
  • Strong Hygiene practices, including knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen cleanliness
  • Effective Communication skills to coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams
  • Customer Service skills to support a welcoming and professional environment during events and daily operations

Beneficial Experience:

  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, café, or catering setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and handle basic kitchen equipment safely
  • Basic understanding of allergen awareness and dietary requirements

Requirements:
