Are you passionate about brilliant food, high standards and bringing out the best in others? We’re looking for a Kitchen Team Leader to guide our bakery kitchen, develop the team and make sure every product is prepared with care and pride.
At Cornish Bakery, our purpose is to nourish people. Working alongside the Bakery Management Team, you’ll lead food production, coach colleagues and keep the kitchen running smoothly, safely and efficiently—even when things get busy.
As a Kitchen Team Leader you will:
- Lead baking and food production, ensuring products are prepared on time and to our high standards
- Organise daily preparation and keep the kitchen calm, efficient and ready for busy periods
- Train, coach and support colleagues in food preparation, baking and safe working practices
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, allergen, cleaning and stock-rotation standards
- Place orders, receive deliveries and help manage stock and waste responsibly
- Complete quality and safety checks and act quickly when standards are not met
- Support the Management Team with the smooth day-to-day operation of the bakery

Skills and qualities that we need from you:
- Experience in a kitchen, bakery or food-production environment
- A natural ability to organise work, motivate others and lead by example
- A strong understanding of food hygiene, allergens and safe working practices
- Pride in producing consistently high-quality food
- A positive, dependable and solutions-focused approach
- Confidence working at pace and adapting when priorities change
