Role Description
Kitchen Team Members at Greene King in Westerham work on-site to support the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen in a fast-paced pub environment. In this full-time role, team members assist with food preparation, basic cooking tasks, and plate presentation in line with brand standards. They help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen, following hygiene and food safety procedures at all times. Kitchen Team Members collaborate closely with chefs and front-of-house colleagues, ensuring orders are prepared accurately and promptly. The role also involves supporting stock rotation, reporting low supplies, and contributing to a positive, respectful team culture.

- Strong food preparation and basic cooking skills, with an interest in working in a busy pub kitchen environment.
- Good understanding of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards, with a commitment to safe working practices.
- Effective communication skills to work smoothly with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Customer service awareness, with a focus on delivering consistent quality and supporting a positive guest experience.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
