Klaviyo Account Director

About Sendfluence

Sendfluence is a specialist email marketing agency helping ambitious brands get more from Klaviyo. We work closely with our clients to improve retention, customer lifetime value and revenue through better email strategy, campaigns, automations, segmentation and optimisation.

We're looking for an experienced Klaviyo Account Director to take ownership of a portfolio of client relationships and become the strategic lead across their accounts.

This is not purely an account management role. You'll need to understand Klaviyo in detail, interpret customer and revenue data, identify opportunities, develop strategies and then work closely with our copy, design and implementation teams to bring those strategies to life.

The Role

As Klaviyo Account Director, you'll sit at the centre of our client relationships.

  • You'll be responsible for understanding each client's business, commercial objectives and customer data, then translating that into a clear email and retention strategy.
  • You'll lead regular client conversations, review performance, identify opportunities for growth and ensure our internal teams have the direction and information they need to execute effectively.
  • You'll ultimately be responsible for ensuring clients feel that Sendfluence is a strategic partner to their business, rather than simply an outsourced email marketing team.

What You'll Be Doing

Client Strategy & Relationships

  • Own and develop relationships across a portfolio of Sendfluence clients
  • Become a trusted strategic partner to founders, marketing teams and ecommerce leaders
  • Understand each client's wider commercial objectives, customer journey and growth priorities
  • Lead client meetings, strategy sessions and performance reviews
  • Proactively bring clients new ideas, opportunities and recommendations
  • Maintain strong client satisfaction and long-term relationships
  • Identify risks within accounts and address them before they become problems

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll Be Successful In This Role If...

  • Clients see you as an extension of their internal marketing team
  • You're constantly identifying opportunities rather than waiting for clients to ask
  • You understand why performance is moving, not simply what the numbers are
  • Your strategies translate into measurable commercial improvements
  • Our internal teams have clear direction and strong briefs
  • Clients stay with Sendfluence because they value the strategic relationship as much as the execution
  • You can comfortably move between a high-level commercial conversation and the detail inside a Klaviyo account

The Person

You'll probably enjoy this role if you're naturally curious about what makes brands grow.

  • You'll want to understand the client's entire business rather than simply their next email campaign.
  • You'll be comfortable discussing strategy with a founder in one meeting, analysing Klaviyo data immediately afterwards, then briefing a designer or copywriter on what needs to happen next.
  • Most importantly, you'll take ownership. We want someone who looks at an account and thinks: What's working? What's not? What's the opportunity? And what should we do next?
