MOBILE VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

Stoke-On-Trent | £40,000-£50,000 | Performance-Related Bonus | Mobile Role

Looking for a Technician role that takes you out of the traditional workshop environment while giving you the support and training to keep developing your skills?

This could be a great opportunity to join an established automotive business as a Mobile Vehicle Technician, covering the Middlesbrough area and starting and finishing from home.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You’ll receive a basic salary of £40,000-£50,000, depending on your qualifications and experience, plus performance-related bonus potential.

You’ll work across a range of customer locations rather than being based in a traditional workshop, with flexible working options available within a 24/7 operation.

The business is also investing in the future of its technicians, with training to IMI Level 3 in Electric Vehicle Maintenance and Repair during your first 12 months.

THE ROLE

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs at customer locations
  • Complete mechanical diagnostic work and identify faults effectively
  • Provide high standards of technical advice, service and maintenance
  • Travel to a range of locations across the Middlesbrough area
  • Work independently while maintaining professional standards
  • Deliver a positive customer experience at every visit

You’ll Need

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Vehicle Technician
  • An NVQ Level 2 or 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
  • At least one year of relevant post-qualification experience
  • Experience carrying out mechanical diagnostics, servicing and repairs
  • A full valid UK driving licence
  • The flexibility to travel to different customer locations

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

  • Main dealership experience
  • Experience in a mobile or field-based technical role
  • Experience working across a range of vehicles
  • Additional automotive qualifications
