Job Opportunity: Registered Mental Health Nurse in IPCU Ward
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the IPCU Ward of Royal Cornhill Hospital for an enthusiastic registered mental health nurse who is keen to enhance/develop their clinical skills in this specialist environment.
The post holder will contribute to providing high quality evidence-based care and support to clients who experience a diverse range of mental health issues within the Acute and Forensic Services. The post holder will provide care through a progressive patient focused approach, within a therapeutic environment and underpinned by risk assessment and management that will maximise the individual’s potential.
As a pivotal member of the team you should possess good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), have a good understanding of current drivers and legislation. IPCU is a dynamic environment and the ideal candidate should be motivated to work as a member of the team supporting a positive and therapeutic culture focused on the needs of the patient group.

- Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
