About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Nurse to join Fraser Ward at Royal Cornhill Hospital. This is a Band 5, permanent position, working full time at 36 hours per week. The post holder will be expected to carry out rotational shift work, across dayshift and nightshift. Applicants must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration, or a New Graduate Nurse (NGN).
Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated individual with an eagerness to develop their nursing skills within Adult Mental Health services. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge, demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based practice, and be dedicated to providing high quality person-centred care for individuals experiencing acute mental health illness. The successful candidate will also work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care for patients.

Fraser Ward is an acute adult mental health ward providing care for patients aged 18 to 65 years from across Aberdeenshire. The ward also accepts CAMHS admissions, requiring close partnership working with a range of services to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients and their families.
Requirements
Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of current legislation, policy drivers, and best practice guidance relevant to acute adult mental health services. We are looking for a proactive and resilient individual who is committed to providing high quality care delivery within our dynamic mental health service.
