Registered Mental Health Nurse - Older Adult Community Mental Health Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team in Moray. Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, care planning, and evidence-based interventions for older adults experiencing mental health difficulties in the community.

We are looking for a nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a keen interest in older adult mental health, and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team. Previous mental health experience is essential, and community or older adult experience would be advantageous.

Role and Responsibilities

The role offers the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, work closely with patients, carers, and partner agencies, and contribute to the ongoing delivery and development of high-quality community mental health services.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Experience working within mental health services
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Commitment to person-centred, recovery-focused care
