Sales Executive

Yeovil | £20,000 Basic Salary (estimated) | £50,000 OTE

Good salespeople don't need to push. They know how to listen, build trust and make the right recommendation.

We're looking for a Sales Executive to join an established automotive dealership in Yeovil.

You'll be responsible for guiding customers through the full vehicle purchasing journey, from the first conversation through to handover.

It's a role that combines customer service, product knowledge and commercial performance, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and has the drive to achieve results.

The Role

You'll Be Responsible For

  • Welcoming customers and creating a professional, engaging showroom experience.
  • Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable vehicles.
  • Presenting new and used vehicles with confidence.
  • Conducting vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
  • Managing the full sales process from enquiry through to handover.
  • Following up leads and enquiries promptly and proactively.
  • Building lasting customer relationships.
  • Discussing finance and additional products where appropriate.
  • Maintaining accurate customer and sales information on the CRM.
  • Keeping up to date with vehicle product knowledge, campaigns and offers.
  • Working towards individual and team sales targets.
  • Taking ownership of the customer experience from start to finish.

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have previous experience in automotive sales or another target-driven customer-facing environment.

  • A proactive approach to following up leads and opportunities.
  • Commercial awareness and a results-focused mindset.

  • A full UK driving licence.
