Looking for a career where your results directly influence your earnings?
We're looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Sales Executive to join a successful automotive dealership in Newbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the buzz of a busy showroom, thrives in a target-driven environment and understands that great sales is about more than simply selling a product. It's about listening, building trust and creating an experience that customers remember.
With a £20,000 basic salary and £50,000 OTE, this role offers strong earning potential for someone prepared to bring energy, commitment and a proactive approach to the sales floor.
Whether you're already an experienced Automotive Sales Executive or have a strong background in a customer-facing, target-driven sales environment, we'd like to hear from you.
The Role
As a Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for guiding customers through the full vehicle purchasing journey, from their first enquiry through to the moment they drive away.
No two days are quite the same. One moment you could be welcoming a customer into the showroom, the next arranging a test drive, discussing finance options or handing over the keys to someone's new car.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
