If you’re an experienced Technician looking for a role where your technical ability is recognised and there’s strong earning potential, this could be worth a closer look.
We’re recruiting for an established automotive dealership in Staines that is looking to strengthen its Workshop team with an experienced Technician.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone who is confident diagnosing faults, carrying out complex repairs and working to a consistently high standard.
You’ll be part of an established Workshop environment with opportunities to continue developing your skills and technical knowledge.

- £34,000–£45,000 basic salary
- £58,000 OTE

THE ROLE
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard
- Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify faults
- Complete inspections and identify additional work required
- Carry out work efficiently while maintaining a right-first-time approach
- Follow manufacturer and dealership procedures
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Work closely with Service Advisors and the wider Aftersales team
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and cleanliness within the Workshop
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’ll Need
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Confidence handling a varied workload
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence
- Main dealership experience would be advantageous
- Relevant automotive qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent
