COMMERCIAL TECHNICIAN
NORTHAMPTON | £34,000–£38,000 BASIC | £55,000–£60,000 OTE | 1 IN 3 SATURDAYS
Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Commercial Technician for an established commercial vehicle dealership in the Northampton area.
This is a strong opportunity for a skilled technician who is confident working on vans and light commercial vehicles, enjoys fault-finding and diagnostics, and wants a role offering a competitive basic salary with excellent earning potential.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- £34,000–£38,000 basic salary
- £55,000–£60,000 OTE
- 1 in 3 Saturdays
- Established commercial vehicle dealership
- Strong earning potential
- Professional workshop environment
THE ROLE
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work on commercial vehicles and LCVs
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
- Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Carry out inspections and identify required work
- Work closely with the wider workshop team to maintain productivity and quality
- Complete all work in line with manufacturer and dealership standards
- Maintain accurate job-card and repair documentation

YOU’LL NEED
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong hands-on Vehicle Technician experience
- Confidence servicing, maintaining and repairing vans / light commercial vehicles
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Strong attention to detail
- A professional and reliable approach
- The ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment

IT WOULD BE PARTICULARLY USEFUL IF YOU ALSO HAVE
- Commercial Vehicle Technician / LCV Technician experience
- Main-dealer or manufacturer-franchise experience
- Ford Transit or similar commercial vehicle experience
- Relevant technical qualifications
