Every stitch has its own story. In the knitting club at the Ukrainian House in Rotterdam, ordinary threads are transformed into real support. What is born from the hands of volunteers goes where it is needed most — to hospitals and stabling posts for our defenders. The club is a space for learning new techniques, communicating and supporting each other, as well as creating unique things that help those in need.

Margarita Rogach, a craftswoman from the Volyn knitting club and a volunteer at the Ukrainian House Rotterdam, says:

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

“I saw an ad that the Ukrainian House in Rotterdam was looking for volunteers for creative workshops. And I decided to try to create a knitting club. Over time, we started knitting adaptive clothing for the military — and it became a special mission.”

And knitting here is also therapy. People come to chat, exchange stories, and feel that they are not alone. The atmosphere is like in a real home.

“For me, the Ukrainian House in Rotterdam is like a piece of Ukraine,” says Margarita. And that is exactly how everyone who comes here feels.
