Job Overview

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Knitwear & Jersey Designer to design commercial, fashion-forward womenswear jersey collections for global retail partners and recognised fashion brands.

The role will involve creating seasonal ranges Knitwear and Jersey across T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, polos, dresses, skirts, joggers, leggings, and elevated jersey separates, alongside trend research, colour and print direction, fabric and trim development, CADs, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product developers, garment technologists, overseas factories, mills, and sourcing teams.
  • Manage designs through the development critical path from initial concept through to fit, sampling, and final sign-off.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ commercial womenswear jersey or knitwear design experience.
  • Strong knowledge of jersey fabrics, garment construction, washes, printing, and manufacturing.
  • Excellent Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD, and technical drawing skills are essential.
  • Creative, trend-aware, and commercially minded with a strong understanding of the high street and premium contemporary womenswear market.
  • Ability to translate trends into successful retail product.
