Knowledge Graph Delivery Lead
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Graph Delivery Lead to manage the successful delivery of a large-scale enterprise Knowledge Graph programme. The role will lead cross-functional teams across data architecture, ontology design, data engineering, graph engineering, business analysis, and platform delivery to ensure the successful implementation of a strategic knowledge graph capability.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in delivering complex data and knowledge management programmes, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams in enterprise environments. Knowledge graph, graph database, and Neo4j experience is highly desirable, alongside proven delivery leadership within regulated industries such as Financial Services.
This is a highly customer-facing role requiring exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and programme leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Programme & Delivery Leadership
- Own end-to-end delivery of the Knowledge Graph programme, ensuring alignment with business outcomes, timelines, budgets, and quality objectives.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams spanning architecture, ontology design, data engineering, graph engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Establish and drive delivery plans, governance structures, risk management processes, and reporting mechanisms.
- Manage dependencies across multiple workstreams, technology teams, and business functions.
- Ensure delivery adheres to enterprise architecture, data governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge Graph & Data Delivery Management
- Lead the delivery of complex knowledge and data engineering initiatives.
- Coordinate the implementation of knowledge graph platforms, graph data models, ontology frameworks, and data integration solutions.
- Work closely with Knowledge Graph Architects and technical leads to ensure successful execution of architectural designs.
- Drive adoption of delivery best practices across graph, data, AI, and analytics workstreams.
- Oversee testing, deployment, environment management, and release planning.

Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as the primary delivery interface for senior client stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships across business, technology, and programme leadership teams.
- Facilitate executive steering committees, programme governance forums, and stakeholder workshops.
- Communicate programme progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans clearly and effectively.
- Manage stakeholder expectations in complex and evolving delivery environments.
Governance & Risk Management
- Establish robust programme governance and reporting structures.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate delivery risks and dependencies.
- Ensure appropriate controls are in place for delivery within regulated environments.
- Drive issue resolution and decision-making across business and technology stakeholders.
- Support programme assurance, audit, and compliance activities where required.
Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate high-performing delivery and technical teams.
- Coordinate the activities of architects, engineers, analysts, and third-party partners.
- Foster collaboration between business and technical stakeholders.
- Champion a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
Delivery Leadership
- Proven track record leading large-scale enterprise data, knowledge management, or information management programmes.
- Extensive experience delivering complex technology and data transformation initiatives.
- Strong programme and project management expertise within agile, hybrid, or traditional delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams across architecture, engineering, and business functions.

Knowledge & Data Expertise
- Strong understanding of:
- Knowledge Graph platforms
- Graph-based solutions
- Data architecture and engineering
- Data integration and transformation
- Metadata and information management
- Data governance and quality management
- Experience delivering solutions involving:
- Knowledge Graphs
- Neo4j or similar graph technologies (highly desirable)
- AI and advanced analytics platforms
- Cloud-based data platforms
Industry Experience
- Experience delivering programmes within highly regulated industries.
- Financial Services or Investment Banking experience strongly preferred.
- Understanding of regulatory, risk, compliance, and governance considerations within complex enterprise environments.
- Experience managing data-centric programmes in regulated sectors such as Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets, Telecommunications, Healthcare, or Government is highly advantageous.
