Knowledge Graph Engineer

Location: Remote (UK)
Contract: 6 Months (Likely Extensions)
Rate: Up to £650/day Outside IR35

Fully remote role within the UK.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Graph Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-scale Knowledge Graph solutions for AI-driven applications. You will build production-grade platforms using Neo4j, Graphiti, and GLiNER, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise Knowledge Graph solutions.
  • Build scalable, secure, and reusable AI platform components.
  • Develop Python-based microservices and integrate Azure services, Snowflake, SharePoint, and REST APIs.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring.
  • Optimise performance, reliability, and operational resilience.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams.
  • Produce technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and support production releases.
  • Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong Python development skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Neo4j, Knowledge Graphs, Graphiti, and GLiNER.
  • Experience delivering production solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Microservices architecture and REST API integration.
  • Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD.
  • Experience with LLMs, Embeddings, and Hybrid Search.
  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
