Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Knowledge Lawyer with expertise in commercial litigation and arbitration to join our highly successful Commercial Disputes and International Arbitration group within a leading international law firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting key marketing and business development initiatives for the group, particularly where these draw on legal expertise, market developments and thought leadership
- Connecting with the firm's Clients & Markets team to raise the group’s profile internally and externally, strengthening the brand and client relationships
- Identifying key legal and procedural developments relevant to Commercial Disputes and International Arbitration in collaboration with the Knowledge team
- Leading or supporting thought leadership initiatives, including the drafting and publication of articles, talks, newsletters and podcasts
- Reviewing legal reform consultations and engaging with professional networks when considering their implications for the group and its clients
- Providing technical legal support and acting as a sounding board for fee earners on complex legal and procedural issues
- Delivering training for Commercial Disputes lawyers, to include working with the Talent & Development and Knowledge Management teams to identify training needs and develop appropriate programmes
- Helping the group with AI, innovation and technology to enhance efficiency, knowledge-sharing and client service
- Mentoring and supervising junior colleagues
- Promoting a culture of excellence and effective working practices

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- England and Wales qualified Lawyer with ~5+ years’ PQE in complex commercial disputes
- Strong understanding of commercial litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms
- Strong technical knowledge of English law and procedure, including costs and funding rules
- Excellent drafting, analytical, communication, data management and IT skills
- Experience in a PSL/Knowledge Lawyer role, or comparable role, would be ideal
- Experience developing and delivering legal training programmes
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and drive engagement across practices and business services teams
