Managing Consultant - Knowledge Management
Whitehall Resources currently require an Managing Consultant to work with a key client.
Please note this role falls INSIDE IR35
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Managing Consultant to lead architecture and platform strategy for a global Knowledge Management Transformation program. This role will provide leadership across architecture, platform modernization, governance, migration strategy, and AI-readiness initiatives while engaging with senior client stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the target-state Knowledge Management architecture and platform strategy.
- Define future-state enterprise knowledge architecture and operating model.
- Lead architectural decisions across SharePoint, ServiceNow, Confluence, LeanIX, and AI-enabled knowledge platforms.
- Establish semantic architecture, metadata strategy, taxonomy models, and governance frameworks.
- Define platform consolidation and modernization strategies.
- Lead technical and business assessments of current knowledge platforms.
- Create migration strategies, implementation roadmaps, and governance models.
- Drive executive workshops and strategic decision-making forums.
- Manage platform, architecture, and transformation risks.
- Provide leadership to consulting and architecture teams across multiple geographies.
- Act as the primary client-facing architecture lead throughout the transformation lifecycle.

Required Experience
- 10+ years of consulting experience.
- Proven leadership in Enterprise Architecture, Platform Strategy, or Digital Transformation programs.
- Strong experience with Knowledge Management, Content Management, or Information Management initiatives.
- Experience leading complex transformation programs involving multiple technologies and stakeholder groups.
- Executive stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead architecture decisions from strategy through implementation.
