Knowledge Management Specialist
We are currently working with a leading global law firm to recruit a Knowledge Management Specialist to join their London office on a 6-month fixed-term contract basis, with the possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Knowledge Management/Research Paralegal, Analyst, or Specialist, to take on a varied role supporting the development and management of legal technical knowledge.
The successful applicant will play a key role in maintaining and developing knowledge resources, supporting KM projects, and preparing technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing data-related elements of KM projects, including metadata, naming conventions, data population, test exports, usage reporting analysis, and final quality control.
- Curating and tagging content for knowledge banks.
- Preparing documents for legal and KM project uploads.
- Creating and maintaining current awareness trackers to keep London attorneys informed of key practice developments.
- Drafting KM platform updates, newsletters, and other communications to encourage engagement.
- Supporting the maintenance and development of knowledge platforms and related materials.
- Providing training and assistance to encourage adoption of knowledge platforms across the London office.
- Supporting practice efficiency through technology, including AI-based solutions, document automation, and data analytics.
- Assisting with the creation and delivery of legal training programmes and participating in KM meetings.
- Supporting the development of AI-based offerings through research, project management, and reviewing the results of AI model testing.
- Participating in technology training and pilots to ensure the KM team continues to make effective use of technology.
- Maintaining the KM intranet and practice group pages.
- Working collaboratively with paralegals, attorneys, and other legal professionals to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration.

The successful applicant will be degree-educated (preferably in law or an information-managed related subject), have 2+ years of relevant experience, and exemplary project management, organisation, and attention to detail skills.
We are seeking candidates with experience of using research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis, and familiarity with SharePoint, Relativity, and/or iManage is highly desired, as well as a genuine interest in KM systems, legal technology, and emerging AI solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to gain exposure across multiple projects, and a highly competitive salary range is on offer.
The firm operates on a 3:2 hybrid model and offers a wonderful working culture.
