Knowledge Systems Specialist (Collaboration & Contract Automation) – Law – London
A highly regarded international law firm has a new requirement for a Knowledge Systems Specialist to join its growing Knowledge function. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting and developing the firm's knowledge productivity platforms, helping lawyers and business services professionals make effective use of collaboration, document automation and knowledge management technologies.
Working closely with Knowledge, Legal Technology and IT colleagues, this role will focus on the administration, improvement and adoption of a suite of knowledge systems, including collaboration platforms, document automation tools, knowledge repositories and related productivity technologies. It offers excellent exposure to a broad range of legal technology solutions within a firm that continues to invest heavily in innovation and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities and Objectives
- Developing and maintaining client collaboration sites, portals, trackers and workflows using HighQ.
- Updating and enhancing automated legal document templates using Contract Express.
- Supporting and maintaining knowledge and product-related intranet content.
- Assisting with upgrades, testing programmes, content migrations and system enhancements.
- Providing day-to-day user support across the firm's knowledge systems and legal technology platforms.
- Delivering user training sessions and maintaining guidance materials and user documentation.
- Investigating technical issues and coordinating with IT teams and external vendors to resolve them.
- Administering user access, permissions, licences and governance processes across multiple platforms.
- Monitoring system usage, adoption and engagement, producing regular reports and management information.
- Working with vendors and attending product briefings to stay informed on new features, developments and emerging technologies.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase adoption and enhance the user experience across the firm's knowledge systems.

Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have a strong mix of the following:
- Experience within legal technology, knowledge management, innovation or knowledge systems administration within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Experience supporting enterprise knowledge or collaboration platforms.
- Strong interest in document automation, collaboration technologies and knowledge management.
- Experience delivering user support, training and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, solution-oriented and highly collaborative approach.
- Experience of HighQ and/or Contract Express would be particularly advantageous.
