Senior Kotlin Developer
Location: UK Wide – Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Bristol or Glasgow
Working Pattern: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week on-site
Salary: Up to £70k
Type: Permanent
A rapidly growing digital consultancy is looking for a Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer to help deliver complex, user-centred digital services across the public and private sectors. You will work within multidisciplinary teams across engineering, product, design, data, and delivery, taking ownership of technical solutions while supporting and mentoring other engineers.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable software solutions using Kotlin and Java
- Build backend services using Spring Boot and the wider Spring Framework
- Develop microservices and RESTful APIs
- Take ownership of development and deployment pipelines
- Work with clients and internal stakeholders to solve complex technical problems
- Maintain engineering standards and mentor junior developers

Desirable Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Kotlin and the JVM
- Strong Java development experience
- Spring Boot and Spring Framework
- Microservices and RESTful APIs
- AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tooling
- Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools
- Exposure to Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js, or Nunjucks
