A supportive primary school in Harrow is looking for a KS2 Teacher to join its team permanently from September 2026.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of your own class while working within a collaborative school where teachers are encouraged to share ideas, develop their practice and create engaging learning experiences.

Your Role

You'll create a classroom where children are encouraged to be curious, independent and confident in their learning.

You'll Be Responsible For

  • Planning and delivering engaging KS2 lessons.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Adapting teaching for different abilities and additional needs.
  • Assessing progress and planning appropriate next steps.
  • Maintaining clear expectations for behaviour.
  • Working effectively with teaching assistants and support staff.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and families.
  • Contributing to planning and development across the year group.
  • Taking an active role in the wider school community.

What You'll Bring

You'll have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

We're looking for a teacher who can combine high expectations with an understanding that children learn in different ways.

You'll be organised, approachable and confident in building relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one, will be required.
