KS1 Teacher and SEN Teacher – South London
A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role. Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.
A small and nurturing independent pre-preparatory school in South London is seeking teachers for two upcoming opportunities.
KS1 Teacher – Immediate Start
The school is looking for a confident and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher who can begin immediately and support children across Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
The Successful Teacher Should Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status or an appropriate teaching qualification
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years or KS1 curriculum
- Experience planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Effective classroom and behaviour-management skills
- A warm, nurturing and inclusive approach
- Strong communication with parents and colleagues

SEN Teacher – January 2027
The school is also interested in appointing an SEN Teacher from January 2027 to work with children aged five to seven.
The Successful Teacher Should Have:
- Experience supporting young children with special educational needs
- A strong understanding of adaptive teaching and individual support
- The ability to assess needs and plan appropriate interventions
- A patient, caring and child-centred approach
- Strong communication and collaborative-working skills
- Experience working with parents and external professionals
