About the Role
Randstad Education is seeking energetic and adaptable Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistants to join our supply team across Leeds. Whether you are seeking ad-hoc daily cover, short-term assignments, or full-time block placements, we offer complete control over when and where you work.
Key Requirements
- Essential UK Experience: Recent, verifiable experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant in a UK primary school, specifically supporting Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2).
- National Curriculum Familiarity: A solid working understanding of the UK KS1 National Curriculum, including small-group reading and maths interventions.
- Safeguarding and Compliance: A valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new check through Randstad).
- Core Classroom Skills: Strong behaviour management skills, a cheerful attitude, and the confidence to hit the ground running in different Leeds primary schools.
