Key Stage 2 Class Teacher
We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and highly capable Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to work with at Clifton College on a fixed-term basis for the 2027/2028 academic year, commencing 1st September 2027. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vibrant and ambitious academic environment where high-quality teaching and learning are central to all that we do.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, engaging, and inclusive curriculum that enables pupils to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. An interest and passion for cookery would also be advantageous. You will inspire curiosity, confidence, and resilience, and secure strong academic progress through effective teaching, assessment, and feedback.
Responsibilities
As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a full role in the academic life of the School, including:
- Lesson planning and delivery
- Setting and marking prep and assessments
- Reporting clearly on pupil progress
- Contributing actively to departmental work, meetings, INSET, and wider school initiatives
Collaboration
Collaboration is key, and you will contribute actively to departmental work, meetings, INSET, and wider school initiatives.
Wider Life of the Prep School
All staff are expected to contribute fully to the wider life of the Prep School. This includes:
- Pastoral responsibilities through house duties
- Active involvement in the co-curricular programme, including Games and enrichment activities, which are a valued part of a Clifton education
- Participation in assemblies, Chapel services, and key school events
