As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 2.
- Work with individuals and small groups to help pupils achieve their learning goals.
- Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and wellbeing.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
- Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Follow all school policies and safeguarding procedures.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children within a primary school or similar educational setting.
- A relevant Cache or NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
- A commitment to safeguarding and completing annual safeguarding training.
- The right to work in the UK.
