Do you have a knack for breaking down complex upper KS2 maths and English topics into easily digestible lessons?

Would you like to focus your skills on small:group interventions that directly raise pupil attainment in Leeds?

Randstad Education is looking for focused Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistants specialising in academic interventions to support primary schools across Leeds. You will work closely with Year 5 and Year 6 pupils to help boost their confidence and progress ahead of key assessments.

Key Requirements

  • Essential UK Experience: Verifiable experience delivering academic support in a UK Key Stage 2 primary classroom setting.
  • Intervention Expertise: Demonstrated ability to lead targeted 1:1 and small:group booster sessions in literacy, reading comprehension, and numeracy.
  • Safeguarding and Compliance: Holds a valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or readiness to complete a new application).
  • Core Attributes: Strong academic background, excellent patience, and the ability to motivate upper primary pupils to achieve their potential.
