Address: Lawshall, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP29 4QA

Salary: £23,657 per annum, pro rata (pay rise pending)

Hours: 26 hours and 10 minutes per week, 38 weeks per year

Contract: Maternity / Paternity Cover, required from 5 January 2027

Reference: 5556

5 mornings per week, including MDSA cover:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 9am – 1.20pm
  • Thursday: 9am – 12.50pm

About the Role

All Saints’ CEVCP School, Lawshall is looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to cover KS2 classes.

Required from January 2027, we are seeking to appoint a motivated Key Stage Two Teaching Assistant to join our successful and popular school for a Maternity cover contract.

Responsibilities

You will be required to:

  • Work closely with the class teacher to maintain high standards
  • Be able to provide evidence of how individual targets are met to ensure progress
  • Assist in developing the child’s self-esteem and personal and social skills
  • Deliver interventions as appropriate to support the needs of the child
