Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 3:45pm (32.5 hours per week)
Job Description
Education World is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school to recruit a KS2 Teaching Assistant with SEN Support to join their team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils across Key Stage 2, with a particular focus on working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide high-quality classroom support, deliver targeted interventions, and help pupils overcome barriers to learning so they can achieve their full potential.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- A minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
- Experience supporting children within a primary school, ideally in Key Stage 2.
- Experience working with pupils with SEND, either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
- A patient, caring, and flexible approach to supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
