Company Description
AA Tuition Centre is a new Leicester-based tuition centre founded by experienced, qualified teachers, providing small-group tuition for students in Years 7–11. The centre focuses on high-quality, supportive teaching to help students build confidence, strengthen subject knowledge, and develop effective exam techniques. We currently provide Maths and Science tuition and are expanding our teaching team to introduce English tuition for KS3 and GCSE students. AA Tuition Centre is a separate education venture from UK Bright Education, with a specific focus on local secondary school tuition in Leicester.
Role Description
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic KS3 & KS4 English Teacher/Tutor to join AA Tuition Centre in Leicester. The role involves delivering engaging, face-to-face small-group tuition in English Language and English Literature to students in Years 7–11.

- Planning and delivering lessons aligned with the UK curriculum and GCSE requirements
- Supporting students with exam preparation and technique
- Assessing progress
- Providing constructive feedback
- Adapting teaching to meet different abilities and learning needs
This is a part-time role, with teaching hours arranged according to the tuition timetable.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge in KS3 and GCSE English Language and English Literature
- Good understanding of the UK curriculum and GCSE examination requirements
- Experience teaching or tutoring secondary school students
- Ability to plan engaging lessons and differentiate teaching for different abilities
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- A supportive, patient, and student-centred approach
- PGCE/QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification is highly desirable
- Enhanced DBS clearance, or willingness to obtain the appropriate clearance
- Experience preparing students for GCSE examinations is highly desirable
