Role Overview
Are you analytical and organised, curious and a great communicator? And, are you looking for a career in Finance / Financial Crime Compliance, then this may be a role for you. You will gain experience working within a regulated financial services environment. All training and support will be provided so prior experience is welcome but not required.

Key Responsibilities
Analysis & Due Diligence
- Analyse and synthesise complex information from a range of sources
- Conduct research to validate data
- Record accurate information and risk rate counterparties
- Identify and escalate risks and issues
- Investigate and disposition screening alerts and document the results
- Complete reporting on due diligence carried out

Data & Documentation
- Input and maintain findings accurately, with clearly articulated reasoning
- Store documents and data within internal systems as required, respecting naming conventions
- Ensure all documentation and data is complete, compliant, and meets internal and regulatory standards
- Complete trackers and registers required to support management information and reporting
Controls & Process
- Follow established control frameworks, workflows, and procedures consistently, and within agreed SLAs
- Flag process issues or improvement opportunities to the team lead or their deputy

- Liaise with members of internal teams to resolve queries
- Communicate clearly and professionally when raising risks and issues, or requesting missing or updated documentation
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and synthesise complex information from a range of sources, and to identify potential risks and issues in relation to compliance with a given standard
- Ability to conduct open-source research to find and validate data, with a high level of accuracy
- A methodical approach to recording information and following required processes
- Willingness to ask questions, to follow the evidence uncovered through review of documentation or research, and to escalate risks and issues promptly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
