About the Company
INEOS Trading & Shipping (IT&S) is the face to the international petrochemical and shipping markets of the INEOS Group. IT&S supports INEOS's global businesses through trading, feedstock procurement, shipping, risk management and compliance activities across international petrochemical and shipping markets. As global geopolitical tensions continue to evolve, the petrochemical trading and shipping landscape is faced with heightened sanctions obligations, stricter regulatory scrutiny and increased compliance risks.
About the Role
In this environment, the role of the KYC Administrator is essential to safeguard IT&S’s ability to operate responsibly and legally. This role is vital in ensuring every counterparty we engage undergoes comprehensive due diligence and meets INEOS's compliance requirements prior to engagement. By maintaining accurate systems of record, ensuring adherence to INEOS’ policies and overseeing robust due diligence processes, the KYC Administrator plays a crucial part in protecting the business from regulatory breaches, reputational damage and operational disruption.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
