Client Deployment Role Description

We are looking for experienced KYC Analysts to join Albany Beck as we continue to grow our KYC and Financial Crime practice.

The role will focus primarily on the periodic review and refresh of existing client KYC files, ensuring client information remains accurate, complete and compliant with internal policy and regulatory requirements. Analysts will review existing records, obtain updated documentation, reassess client risk and resolve any gaps identified during the review process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete end-to-end KYC periodic reviews on existing client relationships.
  • Review existing KYC files to ensure documentation remains current, complete and compliant.
  • Obtain and validate updated client documentation where required.
  • Reassess client risk ratings based on changes to ownership, structure, activity, jurisdiction or other relevant factors.
  • Review complex legal entities and ownership structures, including beneficial ownership information.
  • Conduct screening checks and investigate any new or updated sanctions, PEP or adverse media alerts.
  • Identify documentation gaps, discrepancies and potential KYC or AML red flags.
  • Liaise with Relationship Managers, Compliance, Legal and other internal stakeholders to obtain missing information and resolve outstanding queries.
  • Escalate high-risk, complex or unusual client profiles where appropriate.
  • Ensure periodic reviews are completed within agreed deadlines and service levels.
  • Maintain accurate records and clear audit trails for all completed reviews.
  • Support KYC remediation and backlog reduction activity where required.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience in KYC, AML, CDD or Client Lifecycle Management within Financial Services.
  • Hands-on experience completing KYC periodic reviews or refreshes on existing clients.
  • Strong knowledge of KYC, AML and Customer Due Diligence requirements.
  • Experience reviewing and updating client risk assessments.
  • Experience reviewing complex entities and ownership structures.
  • Strong understanding of beneficial ownership requirements.
  • Experience conducting screening checks and reviewing potential sanctions, PEP and adverse media matches.
  • Ability to identify KYC gaps and determine what additional documentation or information is required.
  • Strong case management skills with the ability to manage a high volume of periodic reviews.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience reviewing entities such as SPVs, Trusts, Foundations, Investment Funds and Regulated Financial Institutions.
  • Knowledge of FATCA, CRS and AIFMD requirements.
  • Experience using KYC, onboarding or compliance platforms such as World-Check, Refinitiv or Actimize.
  • Experience working on KYC remediation or periodic review backlog projects.
  • Previous experience within banking, asset management, fund administration or another regulated Financial Services environment.
