About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Client Onboarding and Risk Analyst responsible for onboarding and ongoing due diligence to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding, monitoring, assessing, and reporting on the ongoing performance and risk profile of our clients. You will play a key role in ensuring that our clients’ ongoing operations align with regulatory standards and contractual obligations, while identifying potential risks or red flags.

The successful candidate will assist the Team Lead in identifying risks and suggesting improvements to the existing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for onboarding our clients, which includes reviewing collecting necessary documentation and completing a risk assessment.
- Be responsible for conducting Ongoing Due Diligence (ODD) on our clients, which includes reviewing and evaluating their activities, collecting necessary documentation, and sourcing external information to assess compliance and risk.
- Be responsible for reviewing a variety of registries, business and customer databases. This will involve using a combination of third-party and internal tools to conduct background checks, perform research, verify documents, and assess financial crime risks through both internal and external sources.
- Identify and escalate any issues, anomalies, or discrepancies that may require attention or corrective action.
- Prepare detailed due diligence reports, including risk assessments, financial analyses, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, Account Management and Operations, to ensure all areas of due diligence are thoroughly addressed.
- Actively contribute to the automation of the ongoing due diligence process by providing insights and suggestions for further IT development and improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and market conditions relevant to ongoing due diligence activities.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to the Team lead.
Skills and Knowledge Required
Essential (Need to have)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CDD, ODD, financial analysis, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of KYB, risk analysis, and compliance procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
- Fluent English both in speaking and writing.
