PE Firm - L2 Support Engineer (Mac & Windows) - Contract (ongoing) - Immediate Start
Client
A leading European private equity firm specialising in software and technology-enabled businesses. The firm invests in high-growth companies across enterprise software, fintech, legal technology and cybersecurity.
The Role
The Level 2 Support Engineer will join our client's London-based transatlantic service desk, supporting its mixed Windows and macOS environment. The position will act as the escalation point between first-line support, senior systems engineers and an external Mac support partner. The role is heavily weighted towards macOS and requires practical Jamf experience.

Responsibilities + Requirements
- Resolve L2 escalations across macOS, Windows and Microsoft 365, owning incidents through to resolution or appropriate escalation
- Administer the Mac estate through Jamf Pro, including policies, configuration profiles, application deployment and device compliance
- Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune and Azure AD/Entra ID
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, access and connectivity issues across both operating systems

Candidates should bring
- 3+ years’ enterprise IT support experience
- Strong macOS knowledge
- Hands-on Jamf expertise
- Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
- Networking fundamentals covering TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN
Financial-services experience and Jamf or Microsoft certs are advantageous.
