An opportunity has arisen with Daysol Pharmacy where you will be taking in and handing out prescriptions, dispensing and selling over-the-counter medicines. You will work towards a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician (integrated) apprenticeship standard.
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working, gaining hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Taking in and handing out prescriptions
- Receiving and ordering stock
- Selling over-the-counter medicines
- Dispensing
- Advising patients about medications
- Undertaking final checks on the prescriptions
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training to gain professional knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- GCSE in English Language (grade 4)
- GCSE in Maths (grade 4)
- Prior pharmacy experience is beneficial

Application Process
- Training provider: INSPIRE MIDDLESEX COLLEGE LTD
- Training course: Pharmacy technician (integrated) (level 3)
- Functional Skills in maths and English, if required.
- The successful candidate will be working in a community pharmacy close to their home and attending college one day a week.
- The candidate will also be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council for the level 3 qualification.
- On and off-the-job training and location to be confirmed.
