Job Title: L8 Water Hygiene Trainee Technician
Location: Based in Dundee & Surrounding areas, with work carried out across Scotland as required.

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Fire Damper & Remedial Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in fire damper testing, installation, and remedial works to work across commercial, healthcare, and critical environments, including NHS facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Undertake temperature monitoring, flushing, descaling, cleaning and sampling as part of your training and development, in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance
- Complete routine tasks across assigned client sites under appropriate guidance and supervision
- Accurately complete electronic job sheets and compliance records
- Learn to identify and report potential non-compliances, failures or issues requiring further investigation or remedial works
- Liaise with the office team and experienced technicians to ensure works are completed effectively
- Follow company and site-specific health & safety procedures at all times
- Maintain professional standards when working on customer sites and interacting with clients
- Complete all required training and qualifications and actively develop your technical knowledge and competence
- Take increasing responsibility for your work as your skills and experience develop
