Counter Manager – Beauty Retail (Leadership Opportunity)
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Counter Manager to lead, coach, and develop our Sales Associate team while achieving all sales, customer service, and operational targets. This role offers the opportunity to act as CEO of your own store, with full accountability for driving growth through recruitment, retention, and exceptional service.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead strategic business planning to recruit and retain customers via:
- Targeted marketing initiatives
- Impactful in-store events
- Superior customer relationship management
- Build and lead a high-performing team with strong coaching and developmental skills
- Manipulate agile business plans, ensuring alignment with company and store goals
- Drive profitability through operational excellence, stylist performance, and sales targets

Key Requirements
Leadership & Business Skills
- Proven experience in retail, team leadership, and business management
- Strong strategic planning & execution capabilities
- Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources effectively
- Experience as a Team Lead, Shift Manager, or Senior Sales Associate (party-to-role career guidance preferred)
Soft Skills
- Outstanding verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service excellence — exceptional ability to anticipate, resolve, and engage
- Customer relationship management (CRM) acumen
- Conflict resolution with tact and diplomacy
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive approach
- Strong team player who models respect, cooperation, and collaboration
- Ability to work both autonomously and with teams
- Ethically sound, confidentially, discreet, and diplomatic

Technical Proficiency
- Working knowledge of:
- Computerised systems (POS, email)
- Microsoft Excel
- CRM & inventory management tools
